**Role & responsibilities** **Title: Senior Accountant (Core Accounting)** **Role Summary** We are seeking an experienced **Inter CA** to lead the core accounting functions for our broking operations. You will be responsible for maintaining financial integrity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing the end-to-end accounting lifecycle in a fast-paced securities environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Core Accounting: Manage the general ledger, daily book-keeping, and finalization of accounts. - Reconciliations: Oversee bank, exchange, and client-level reconciliations specific to broking operations. - Tax & Statutory Compliance: Handle GST, TDS, and Advance Tax filings; ensure all SEBI/Exchange financial reporting is accurate. - Audit Management: Lead the preparation for statutory, internal, and concurrent audits. - MIS Reporting: Prepare monthly financial health reports and cash flow statements for the management team. **Candidate Requirements** - Qualification: Inter CA (Chartered Accountant - Intermediate). - Experience: 67 years of solid experience in Core Accounting. - Industry Background: Mandatory experience within a Stock Broking firm. - Technical Skills: High proficiency in Tally and advanced MS Excel. - Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset and the ability to work under tight regulatory deadline
