Role SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Executive to handle day-to-day accounting for an auto dealership, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, inventory management, and vehicle deal/loan transactions. The role ensures accurate financial records, timely processing, and effective coordination with store managers and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPost vendor invoices for spare parts, service repairs, and factory payablesManage AP automation to ensure timely and accurate paymentsProcess customer receipts, deposits, and warranty remittancesMonitor and reconcile accounts receivable balancesPost bank transactions for multiple store accountsPerform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and align with the general ledgerReconcile parts and service-related inventoryTrack vehicle inventory and record related accounting entriesPost new and used vehicle sales transactionsRecord financing, loan proceeds, payoffs, and related chargesMonitor funding schedules and related financial transactionsMaintain daily bookkeeping and accurate general ledger recordsAssist with month-end and year-end closing processesCoordinate with store managers and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies Required Skills & QualificationsBachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting (B.Com/M.Com or equivalent)Minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations and inventory accountingStrong knowledge of accounting principles and conceptsProficient in Microsoft Excel, including data validation and reportingStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesPreferred SkillsExposure to foreign accounting environmentPrior experience in auto dealership accountingFast learner with strong research and development (R&D) aptitudeConfident decision-making ability with a proactive mindsetFamiliarity with accounting systems such as CDK, Tekion, or similarWork ExpectationsAbility to work independently and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal coordination skills
