Position Purpose:Support the Corporate Finance mission by being a highly qualified professional who adheres to departmental and corporate procedures while processing vendor and employee travel and entertainment payments.Role And Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the finance coordinators to understand the impact of day to day processingReview of daily cash posting, balancing and approvalReview monthly unapplied reports and client refundsReview AR cash monthly close processMonitor day to day collection processReview monthly aged receivableAssist with AR and collection set-up on new acquisitionsInterface with internal and external auditComplete special projects for manager and other financial functions within the department as requiredComply with Sox audit requirementsSupport year end external auditPerform other duties and special projects as assignedResponsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients. Education and Experience:Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance/Accounting backgroundProven track record of working effectively in flexible work environment in a result-oriented approachWystar and Lawson experience preferredKey Skills & KnowledgeStrong written and verbal communication skills and Good Problem solving and analytical skillsShould be a Self-LearnerStrong PC skills specifically with Excel. Access skills are a definite plus. Flexibility in work culture (She/he should be flexible in Day/Night shift based on business requirement)Basic understanding of accounting concepts and account reconciliations.
