Financial Accounting Associate - CA Qualified

**Job Summary** Wells Fargo is seeking a Financial Accounting Associate. **Responsibilities** - Provide support for financial accounting related matters for lines of business and control functions - Review basic activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts, financial statements and regulatory reports - Gather financial data for financial and regulatory reports - Review data from the general ledger, unit reports and various financial systems to ensure accuracy - Receive direction from managers and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of financial control functions in accordance with the company's internal control policies - Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals **Requirements** - 6+ months of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting or Risk Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications** - Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) with relevant experience in accounting, controllership, audit, or financial reporting. - Working knowledge of IFRS / Ind AS and financial control requirements. - Experience working with ERP systems and finance applications. - Exposure to data analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI and Alteryx. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality results within tight timelines. - Experience in the banking or financial services industry. - High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. - Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills. - Continuous improvement mindset with exposure to automation, analytics, or finance transformation initiatives. - Ability to work effectively across teams and organizational levels.
