Fund Accounting : Private Equity/ Real estate

Shift Timings: UK Shift (starts around 12 PM IST)Work Model: 4 Days Work From Office - Balewadi (WFO)Location: PuneAsset Class: Private Equity / Private Credit Funds & Real estateKey Responsibilities Lead fund accounting, investor reporting, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting activities.Oversee monthly/quarterly NAV reviews, financial statements, audits, bank reconciliations, and fund expenses. Manage capital calls, distributions, liquidity, treasury activities, and performance fee calculations.Coordinate with Fund Administrators to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and SLA adherence.Review complex fund structures, valuations, LPAs, side letters, and accounting treatments. Lead AUM/FUM and management fee reporting to Group Finance.Drive process improvements, controls, operational excellence, and transformation initiatives within the COE.Ensure operational risk management, compliance with policies, and timely escalation of issues.Manage ad hoc projects focused on enhancing the Fund Accounting operating model.Required Qualifications & Skills CA / ACCA / CPA / CMA / master’s in finance, Accounting, or Business.8-10 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in Private Equity, Venture Capital, private Credit or Alternative Asset Management. Strong knowledge of private Equity fund structures, fund accounting, investor reporting, and fund operations. Experience working with Asset Managers.Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and people leadership experience.Preferred Skills Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and/or Lux GAAP.Understanding of private equity fund fee calculations, carry structures, and waterfall models.Experience with complex financial instruments, valuations, and reporting requirements.Role: Manager (Individual Contributor) – Fund Controller
