Job Title: Intern – Financial AnalystDuration: 3–6 months (temporary internship)Start Date: Immediate – only candidates who can join immediately should applyLocation: Lower Parel, MumbaiType: Onsite i.e. Work from Office  Job Overview:·      Support the investment, fund-raise and asset management teams with financial analysis, modelling and research across NovumLake’s commercial real estate portfolio and AIF schemes·      Gain hands-on exposure to real estate private equity – from deal underwriting to investor relations – working within a small, entrepreneurial team·      The ideal candidate should possess an exceptional academic track record, strong analytical and Excel skills, and a keen interest in real estate and alternative investments Key Responsibilities:·      Financial Analysis & Modellingo  Build and maintain financial models (cash flows, IRR, sensitivity / scenario analysis) for potential acquisitions and existing assetso  Assist in underwriting office assets – rent rolls, lease analysis, capex budgets and market comparables·      Researcho  Research office micro-markets – rental and capital value trends, supply pipeline and recent transactionso  Track developments in the AIF industry, including regulations, peer funds and productsEssential Attributes:·      Exceptional academic track record – consistently top-ranking scores through school, graduation and post-graduation (please share your scores / ranks with your application)·      Pursuing or recently completed MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA (any level), or a Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Engineering or a related field·      Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; prior financial modelling experience is a plus·      Sound understanding of corporate finance and valuation concepts (DCF, IRR, NPV)·      Keen interest in real estate, private equity and alternative investments·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail·      Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team·      Available to join immediately and commit for a period of 3–6 months How to Apply·      Only candidates who can join immediately should apply·      Please share your CV along with academic transcripts / scores About NovumLake·      We are an Independent Real Estate Investment and Asset Management Firm with a completed/ under-development Real Estate Portfolio totaling a Built-up-area of 2.5 million sq.ft. with a cumulative Gross Asset Value (GAV) of USD 300+ million under management/ advice·      We have successfully raised and deployed our Fund-1 (a Cat-2 AIF focused on commercial real estate with value-add potential). ·      We have built in-house capabilities for Value-add / Special Situations Investments for Office RE India.
