Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in the Mumbai region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key responsibilities include making bills, filing GST and TDS returns, calculating discounts, and preparing invoices while following up on pending payments. The Junior Accountant will also handle all banking-related activities, including making payments through various modes such as NEFT, RTGS, cash, and cheques, and keeping track of these transactions. Additionally, the role involves preparing profit and loss statements, finalizing accounts, assisting in audits, maintaining ledgers, and managing fixed assets. Strong knowledge of the latest version of Tally and good computer skills are essential for this position. The candidate should also be comfortable communicating with clients and vendors via phone and email.
