Sr Manager-Business Finance

Area(s) of responsibilityAbout The RoleThe role supports a business segment with $100M+ of annual revenue, and is responsible for managing revenue, profit and cash for the segment. The person is also expected to be well-versed in pricing of new business coming from the customers in their business segment. The person would have small team of 2-3 individual contributors supporting the role. The individual is expected to work closely with the business leaders and participate in business reviews and present financials during such reviewsLocation: PuneEducational Qualification: CA or MBA- FinanceExperience : 12+ YearsRole & ResponsibilitiesBuild an analytical and data driven business finance function and support on the following tasksSet up forecasting model to help improve predictability to bring in a financial disciplineMonthly / Quarterly numbers and PPT preparation for review for Leadership TeamBuild framework for annual operating plan, and conduct periodic budget vs actual variance analysis along with commentsWork closely with cross functional teams to resolve issues if any on P&LGuide the team on data analysis for any decision-making scenario, bringing out business insights that are not visible in regular reviewsProactive in reviewing financial information, identifying exception / and any irregularities initiate action to rectify and follow up for logical closureSupport finance / business leaders in simulation of traffic projections and conversion, working out the right lever to invest on attaining the traffic target, including cost optimization plansEstablish ROI on investment and do monthly track and share inputs with ManagementBuild operational plan for optimizing on utilization and channel mixParticipate in budget discussion and support scenario building / simulation modellingHands on experience on reporting
