Chartered Accountant

We are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager Financial Reporting & Statutory Audit **Job Description :** Work Location : Bangalore (Peenya ) **Qualification & Experience** **Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6 - 10 years of post-qualification experience.** Prior experience with a Big 4 audit firm in statutory audit / assurance is highly preferred. Experience in a large company with turnover above 1,000 Crores, preferably in the manufacturing sector. Strong hands-on experience in Ind AS and financial reporting. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Lead and coordinate statutory audit and ensure timely completion of annual financial statements. 2. Prepare / review financial statements and disclosures in accordance with Ind AS and Companies Act requirements. 3. Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors and other professional advisors. 4. Ensure proper accounting treatment for complex transactions, provisions, revenue recognition, leases, investments, borrowing costs, etc. 5. Review monthly / quarterly financial closing and identify accounting and reporting issues. 6. Support preparation of MIS, financial analysis and management reporting. 7. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, Companies Act and other financial reporting requirements. 8. Strengthen internal financial controls, accounting processes and financial reporting systems. 9. Assist in tax audits, transfer pricing, due diligence, valuations and other finance-related assignments, as required. **Desired Skills** 1. Strong understanding of Ind AS and financial reporting. 2. Good experience in managing statutory audits from both auditor and company perspectives. 3. Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting, including inventory, costing, capex, fixed assets and revenue. 4. Ability to independently handle auditors and resolve technical accounting matters. 5. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills. 6. Good working knowledge of ERP/SAP and MS Excel.
