Delivery Lead- Ratings

Job PurposeThe candidate will work dedicatedly with an investment bank and will be responsible for end-to-end management of the projects. The candidate should have knowledge of and experience of working in Investment Banking industry and would be working on Financial models, Rating models, Project finance models, Credit Overviews, Capital Structure, Debt Profiles and Credit Memos.The candidate will get an opportunity to work directly with the client and would be expected to finalize projects. He should have experience in sovereign ratings.ResponsibilitiesSupporting the Rating Advisory team of a global investment bank in preparing rating presentations and rating models for submission to global ratings agenciesStrong understanding of S&P, Moody’s and Fitch rating methodologies and expertise in different financial adjustments as well as qualitative aspects, required for assigning ratings to companies and bond issuancesStrong understanding of capital markets, financial instruments and corporate finance principlesUnderstanding of different sectors including MSME, Infrastructure, Transportation, TMT, Consumer, Industrials, Real Estate, Oil & Gas, and BankingCapital structure analysis - Identifying different levels of debt tranches, corporate and funding structure, mapping guarantees and collateralKnowledge and hands on experience in preparing Information Memorandum, Credit Memo, macro-economic analysis, industry and company overviews/ analysis, peer comparison and presentations is a pre-requisiteShould also have expertise in preparation of project finance models, cash flow models, forecast analysis and ratio analysisKey CompetenciesMBA/ CFA/ CA or Post Graduation in Finance or equivalent qualification4-6 years of relevant work experienceHighly developed written and oral communication skills including the ability to create and deliver professional product ideas and presentations.Expertise in financial modelling, operational / financial benchmarking and credit researchStrong interpersonal skills used within a team environment and in client interactionAbility to learn and adapt quicklyAbility to work effectively under tight deadlines, flexibility during earnings season
