The role will work closely with senior leadership and founders, with responsibility for month-end closure, financial reporting, tax and statutory compliance, reconciliations, audit support, and balance sheet integrity.This role is suited for a Chartered Accountant with 2–4 years of post-qualification experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced startup environment and is comfortable taking end-to-end ownership.Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Month-End ClosureDrive timely month-end, quarter-end, and annual book closures.Review provisions, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and revenue recognition.Prepare P&L, balance sheet schedules, and financial reporting packs.Ensure accounting is aligned with Indian GAAP and applicable statutory requirements. Reconciliations & Inventory AccountingPerform reconciliations for bank, customers, vendors, intercompany, GST, and TDS.Work with Operations and Supply Chain teams on hardware inventory and BOM accounting.Track GR/IR, component sourcing costs, and finished goods movement across deployment sites. Tax & Statutory ComplianceManage GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GST reconciliations.Handle TDS/TCS and advance tax workings.Coordinate with external tax consultants, auditors, and legal advisors.Ensure compliance related to government grants, MSME reporting, and other regulatory submissions. Audit & ComplianceAct as the primary finance point of contact for auditors.Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.Address auditor queries and drive timely closure of audit requirements. Internal Controls & Process AutomationIdentify and address financial and operational control gaps.Strengthen controls around procurement, inventory, deployment billing, and operating expenses.Automate financial workflows and reporting using ERP and reporting tools such as Zoho Books, Tally, or internal dashboards. Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Sales Operations, Supply Chain, FP&A, and Operations teams.Support billing and receivables management.Validate cost structures for enterprise tenders and RFPs.Contribute to improving working capital and financial processes.Required Qualifications & SkillsQualified Chartered Accountant (CA).2–4 years of post-qualification experience.Experience in executing or leading at least one complete statutory audit engagement.Strong hands-on experience in accounting and month-end closure.Knowledge of revenue recognition, ledger scrutiny, provisions, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS/TCS, and direct taxation.Excellent proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets.Experience with ERP/accounting systems; Zoho Books preferred.Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset.Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.Good to HaveExperience in hardware/electronics manufacturing, IoT, SaaS, or supply-chain-intensive businesses.Exposure to inventory accounting and import/export/customs processes.Experience with government tender billing or government-funded projects.Experience in finance process automation and dashboard-based reporting.Ability to identify process gaps and implement practical solutions.Why Join Aurassure?Impact-Driven Work: Contribute to technology addressing climate change, air pollution, and urban environmental challenges.End-to-End Ownership: Gain exposure across finance, hardware supply chain, SaaS economics, and operations.Startup Exposure: Work closely with founders and senior leadership in a high-growth Climate-Tech environment.Learning & Growth: Opportunity to build and strengthen a broad controllership function.Skills: chartered accountant (ca),financial controllership,balance sheet reconciliation,inventory accounting,revenue recognition,zoho books,internal controls,tax compliance,working capital,finance operations
