The candidate should have experience in multi-unit retail, QSR, hospitality, FMCG, or other consumer-facing businesses and be capable of supporting business expansion while maintaining financial discipline.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & StrategyDevelop annual budgets, business plans, and financial forecasts. Drive financial strategy aligned with business growth objectives. Conduct outlet-wise profitability and contribution margin analysis. Evaluate expansion projects, capital expenditure (CAPEX), and new business opportunities. Support fundraising, investor discussions, and financial due diligence. Financial Control & AccountingEnsure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial governance. Monitor revenue, expenses, margins, and overall financial performance. Lead statutory audits, internal audits, and financial reporting processes. Cash Flow & Working Capital ManagementManage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning. Optimize working capital, inventory levels, and vendor payment cycles. Monitor outlet-level cash controls and banking operations. Ensure efficient fund utilization across all business units. Business Finance & Commercial SupportAnalyze outlet-wise sales, profitability, and operating performance. Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements. Collaborate with operations, procurement, HR, and business teams to improve profitability. Develop and monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs). Compliance & TaxationEnsure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable regulations. Manage tax planning and optimize tax efficiency. Liaise with auditors, bankers, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities. Team Leadership & Process ImprovementBuild and lead a high-performing finance and accounts team. Develop finance processes and systems to support business expansion. Drive ERP implementation and financial automation initiatives. Mentor team members and strengthen financial capabilities. Required Skills & Qualifications10-15 years of progressive finance experience. Minimum 3-5 years in a finance leadership role. CA / CMA / MBA Finance preferred. Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Experience in cash flow and working capital management. Strong knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. Experience in financial modelling, investment analysis, and business finance. Proficiency in ERP systems such as Zoho, SAP, or Oracle. Advanced MS Excel skills and strong MIS reporting capabilities. Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
