Qualified Chartered Accountant with 4-7yrs of experience in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Audit Manager - Overall 7+yrs / Post Qualified CA - 4yrs Team Leader - Overall 4+yrs / 3+yrs Post Qualified CA Location: Chennai (Olympia Tech Park)3 days Hybrid, Work from Office ; Mon-Fri workingsFlexible for Extended ShiftsRole: Commercial Real Estate Audit ManagerResponsibilities include but not limited to:Drive client engagementsReview and prepare financial statements, footnotes & workpapersDemonstrate professional creativity in dealing with client matters and make constructive suggestions to improve client operationsEffectively analyze client transactions, recognizing potential or existing problems, conducts appropriate research, and works closely with managers on resolving the issueUnderstand the purpose of accounting and general ledger recording proceduresPerform auditing procedures in accordance with firm standards and in an accurate, thorough and timely manner, including proposing journal entries to client general ledgersServe as the Engagement Lead on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverableDevelop a detailed engagement work plan, illustrating budgets and schedulesMonitor project status against the work plan and communicate schedule adjustments to managers and/or partnersEXPERIENCEQualified Chartered Accountant / CPA with overall experience of 7+ years of work experience in commercial real estate audit from a top4 consulting organization.Exceptional analytical, technical, and auditing skills including knowledge in US GAAP and GAAS Bachelor’s Degree requiredExceptional client service and communication skills and strong leadership and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written interpersonal, and presentation skillsDemonstrates an entrepreneurial spiritComputer expertise including knowledge of audit-preparation software and an understanding of the impact of technologyProven technical skills with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook; audit software - CCH Engagement experienceExceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
